  1. Eligibility: Any Individual Who Is An Indian Citizen And Has Completed 10th Standard Can Participate In The Program.
  2. Training: Pmkvy Provides Training To The Candidates Through Its Affiliated Training Centers. The Training Is Provided In Various Sectors Such As Healthcare, Hospitality, Construction, Beauty, And Wellness, Etc.
  3. Certification: Upon Successful Completion Of The Training, Candidates Are Awarded A Certificate From The National Skill Development Corporation (Nsdc).
  4. Cost: The Training Under Pmkvy Is Free Of Cost For The Candidates. The Cost Of Training Is Borne By The Government.
  5. Assessment: Candidates Have To Undergo An Assessment After The Completion Of The Training. The Assessment Is Done By Authorized Assessment Agencies.
  6. Placement: Pmkvy Also Provides Placement Assistance To The Candidates After The Completion Of The Training. The Program Has Tie-ups With Various Industries And Employers To Ensure Job Placements For The Trained Candidates.
  7. Monitoring And Evaluation: The Program Is Closely Monitored By The Government To Ensure Its Effectiveness And Quality. Regular Evaluations Are Done To Assess The Impact Of The Program.

Making Broad Policies For All Other Ministries/departments, Framing Policies For Soft Skills, Computer Education, And Academic Equivalence Of Skill Sets Are All Responsibilities Of Msde, Along With Coordination With All Parties Involved In Developing An Appropriate Skill Development Framework, Removing The Gap Between The Demand And Supply Of Skilled Labour, Mapping Existing Skills, Conducting Market Research, Developing Training Curricula, Industry-institute Linkage, And Bringing Ppp Elements In Skilling. To Realise The Broad Goal Of A “Skilled India,” The Ministry Intends To Skill On A Wide Scale Quickly And To High Standards. The Nsdc

A First-of-its-kind Public-private Partnership In India Is The National Skill Development Corporation (Nsdc). By Encouraging The Establishment Of Significant, High-caliber, For-profit Vocational Schools, It Seeks To Advance Skill Development. Scalable, For-profit Programmes For Vocational Training Are Funded By Nsdc. Moreover, It Must Either Directly Or Indirectly Via Partnerships Allow Support Systems Like Quality Control, Information Systems, And Train The Trainer Academies.
