Zone A: नगर निगमों, नगर पालिकाओं, अधिसूचित क्षेत्रों, विकास प्राधिकरणों, थर्मल पावर प्लांट के तहत क्षेत्र व् टाउनशिप क्षेत्रों सहित क्षेत्र। Zone B: बाकी पश्चिम बंगाल। अगर आप उपरोक्त मासिक दर को 26 से विभाजित करेंगे तो एक दिन का दैनिक मजदूरी कैलकुलेट कर सकते हैं। जिसके बाद साप्ताहिक दर को कैलकुलेट करने के लिए दैनिक दर को 6 से गुणा करना होगा।

• To arrive at the daily rate, the monthly rate shall have to be divided by 26 (to be rounded off to the nearest rupee), and to arrive at the weekly rate, the daily rate shall have to be multiplied by 6
• A normal working day shall consist of eight hours of actual work and not less than half an hour of recess, subject to 48 hours of actual work in a week
• The minimum rates of wages are applicable to the employees employed by contractors also
